The 9 to 5 will seem like a million miles away at this oasis of luxury, where you enjoy not merely 1, but 2 palm-fringed tropical islands. The resort is set across them, linked by a 500m footbridge, and offers 3 different luxury experiences – amazing, thatch-roofed Water Villas perched on stilts over the shallow waters, beautifully furnished Beach Villas, or luxurious Spa Water Villas, part of the Spa Retreat.
Location: On Rangali and Ranglifinolhu islands in South Ari atoll. Transfer time from airport: 35 min by seaplane.
Facilities: Atoll Market Place with 8 ‘show kitchens’, Vilu Restaurant, Koko Grill, The Wine Cellar, Sunset Grill and Bar, Ithaa – the Maldives’ first undersea restaurant. 3 bars. Separate adults’ and children’s swimming pools, water sports. PADI dive centre, big-game fishing, tennis, fitness room and gym. Spa Retreat’s 21 Spa Water Villas sit on stilts over the ocean with entrancing ocean views, a private treatment room, a magnificent oversized outdoor bathtub and a sun deck.
Accommodation: Ranglifinolhu Island features Beach Villas, Deluxe Beach Villas and Spa Water Villas at the Spa Retreat. Rangali Island features Standard and Superior Water Villas. All villas have air-conditioning, ceiling fan, satellite TV/DVD, CD player and espresso machine. All villas sleep max 2 adults and 2 children, except Spa Water Villas which sleep max 2 adults.
Half-Board Option: Meals to be taken in the Atoll Market Place. Guests staying at the Spa Retreat can also dine in the Mandhoo Spa Restaurant.
Minimum Stay: 7 nights for all stays between 24-31 Dec ’08 or 5 nights year round at the Spa Retreat
